well here is the newest news...
nothing exciting!!!
to update you all...ben and i are just working working working...school started again for ben and it seemed to have stressed him out even more. he is working the same amount of hours, but longer. he now works wed 4p-12a,12a-8a, friday 4p-12a, sat 4p-12a, 12a, 8a. so he has 2 double shifts. plus he has a full load of school. then i am still working at costco and at the salon. i am trying to quit costco and go to the salon full time. but of course that is taking sometime to build up the clients that i need for that. it is amazing to see how Heavenly Father helps out though. right when i feel like i am not making any money at my salon and think i should do something else, it gets busy and we make more money. so we are definately thankful for that. today was election day...i voted but ben neglected to register....he forgot. so he did it and will be able to vote next time. and with the weather, it has snowed 6 inches in the last week. it has got to be a record for the last 5 years or so... it was cold...but fun in some ways...
and the super bowl was fun.. we had a few people here to hang out with us. it made it a fun day.

this would be our sunday outing. there is this place off of the skyway that is called either lookout point or make out point. ben and i decided to go and "look" at lookout point. we didn't makeout. no really, we just wanted to look at it. it goes into the canyon and it is really pretty. plus there were about 6 cars at the bottom. this is where a lot of people try to committ suicide by driving off the cliff. pretty sad. that is my sunday outfit too!

Here is ben...this time when it snowed he was so sweet to get out there and salt the driveway. it was quite cold. but he is so cute.

well sorry it has been a while but this is our house with the snow. we are up in paradise at a family friends house while they are on a mission. it was a little different being in the snow. i lived in snow for a long time out in ohio but everyone else always shoveled it. but this day i had to get out and do it. ben was gone in chicago for his best friends wedding and so i did it myself.

this is the most recent. ben and i went to his grandparents house in covelo. it was he most awful car trip ever!!!! on the way i got sick and then on the way back ben got sick. it was a four hour drive and we left at 8 am and got home at 10pm. long day but it was nice to see bens family and actually hang out with the extended family other than at the wedding.

this is bens family. we went to redding for thanksgiving. he had to work that day with angel ben...the one in the wheel chair. so we made him apart of the family. bens aunt came to visit..nancy to the right of his mom. it was a fun but long day.

well everyone i know this took a while... but i haven't had much time...this is ben and i on our honeymoon. we went to monterey and to san francisco. it was so cold but fun.

well today was a long day.. it started out at 545 am when i woke up and realized that i didn't set my alarm to get up at630...so ofcourse being the good wife that i am, wokeup ben to hand me his phone to set an alarm. by the time i got in the shower and got ready..ben was up for the day. i had a hi-lite this morning and made the same amount in 2 hours as i did in working 8 hours at costco. man i love retail. anywho.... then getting a call later on in the day from my husband that says if you can pick me up tonight i can get a ride to work from eric. well ben gets off at 11pm. so now i am at his work waiting for him to get off. tomorrow will be another long day. we are driving to willits to spend time with his grandparents. and then coming home tomorrow night....at least we get to spend time alone and sleep in on christmas eve. then we are off to bens parents in oroville christmas morning to receive a phone call from aaron at 7am... why he is calling so early...i don't know..but ben is excited to hear from him....any who we are all hoping that you have a wonderful christmas and until the next blog.....

This was the start of our wonderful life together.... we had such a fun time and we are so happy. needless to say we were happy to finally finish taking pictures and get on with the rest of the night. And it was great to see the whole family..minus Aaron (bens brother on a mission, bless his heart).
